We are now offering respite in our day centre, funded by the Australian Government, through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), and home care packages subsidised by the government also.  On the retirement living block we have two and three-bedroom townhouses, all of which have a courtyard, laundry, ensuite and a fully equipped kitchen. Most have internal access from the garage. On the aged care home block, the buildings are designed to provide a homey and natural atmosphere so that residents can maintain their individuality, privacy and dignity. Residents are accommodated in single rooms with ensuites and have access to multiple gardens, multiple lounges, a cinema, and a kiosk.Here we aim to provide all levels of care, including dementia and palliative care, to our residents so that, as far as possible, there is no need for them to move to any other facility. Staff are also rostered over a 24-hour period to provide personal care, all meals and laundry. Residents are encouraged to maintain their independence and contribute to the life of the village. A regular, varied and extensive activity program is offered including bus outings and participation in community events.
