Finding out your results

At the end of the aged care assessment, whether that was face to face or over video call, the assessor will discuss the outcome of the assessment with you and explain what happens next. 

You will also receive written confirmation of the decision in the mail in the weeks following your assessment.

You can view all the information and check the status of your application on your My Aged Care Online Account, which you access through your myGov portal.

You will receive a separate notification with all the information you need to start accessing the supports you are eligible for.

If you are not happy with the outcome of the assessment you can request a review of the decision.
