Nursing home providers

Find the providers behind residential aged care

Who provides nursing homes?

Nursing homes can be owned and run by a number of enities such as private companies, church groups, charitable organisations, community groups and state governments.

Aged care homes that qualify as ‘Government funded’ receive money from the Australian Government to subsidise the cost of the care they deliver.

Non-Government funded nursing homes also provide accommodation and care for residents, but the total cost of this accommodation and care will have to be paid by you.
