In Home Respite

In home respite offers support in the home, giving carers an opportunity to take a rest, catch up on errands, or have some time for personal activities.

This services provides a Support Worker who will come to your home and provide support and companionship - many carers use this as an opportunity to go out, but you may also wish to stay at home while we visit.

While you are taking a break, our Support worker will ensure your family member’s care needs are met. We tailor our services to meet their needs for social support, personal care, medication prompts and recreational activities. 

Referral

Please contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 to discuss obtaining a referral - please them know that St Basil's WA Respite is under the Care Relationships/Carer Support code.  Please also let them know that you require respite (rather than describing the tasks that you would like the staff to provide).  If there are any difficulties, please contact us on 6146 2585 so we can assist.

Eligibility

• Our program is available to people living in the North, East and South East metropolitan areas of Perth.  
• To be eligible for this service you must have a carer.
• Please contact My Aged Care for assessment and referral (Telephone: 1800 200 422)

Service Fees
St Basil's WA provides in-home respite during weekday hours at $12.50/hour.
