St Basil's Centre Based Respite

Our day respite club, "Cafe Zoe" offers older people an opportunity to spend time socializing with other older people. This enables their carer to have some time for themselves to catch up on personal activities, or simply to have a break. 

Cafe Zoe provides a warm, friendly environment where people can make new friends, enjoy a freshly cooked lunch time meal, be involved in a range of activities, and join us for various outings. St Basil’s welcomes all people, including people from different cultural backgrounds.

Service information

Eligibility 

You need to have a primary carer and live in either the north or eastern regions of the Perth metropolitan  area

Referrals

Please contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 for assistance in obtaining a referral to our day club.

When you speak to My Aged Care please let them know that St Basil's Respite services are listed under the Care Relationships/Carer Support code

Attendance Fees
We charge a daily fee of $10.00/day to attend the Centre and $5 for transport each way. With a charge of $10.00 for lunch. 

Private clients 

St Basil's welcomes people who are not eligible for Government funding or hold a Home Care Package - please speak to us about your specific requirements.

Outings

Please note that some outings & special events may have an additional fee - in such cases you will be notified in advance. Fees for outing and/or events are based on a cost recovery depending on the outing or event.
