Rupanyup Hospital & Nursing Home looks forward to getting to know you and your family and becoming part of your extended family.

The staff at Rupanyup Hospital & Nursing Home aim to help residents to obtain their optimal quality of life in accordance with Rupanyup Nursing Home's philosophy and objectives.

They aim to acknowledge each resident as an individual and plan to meet each resident’s physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs and those of their family and friends in accordance with their ideals of normalisation.

Residents are encouraged to have their own ‘knick-knacks’, such as photos for their dressing table, their own familiar bedspread, doona and pillow or even their own armchair.

Ministers of religion and church groups visit the facility regularly. Church services are conducted weekly in the Quiet room located in the east end of the building. Family and friends are welcome to have residents accompany them to their own church services.

Regular vists from allied health professionals help residents to maintain their highest level of health. Services offered include occupational therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy. A qualified Hairdresser also regularly visits the facility to help all residents feel and look their best.
