SwanCare has been a leading provider of accommodation for older Western Australians since 1961. Administered by a Board of Directors whose members are all volunteers drawn from leadership positions in the Western Australian corporate and community sectors, SwanCare is a non-profit, non-denominational organisation.
Our dedicated workforce of more than 300 and the Executive Management Team work together to enrich the lives of our residents through an enduring commitment to quality care.
Our Bentley Park community emerged in the early 1960’s from the vision of our Founder, the late Dr Richard Cleaver, a former MHR for the Federal Electorate of Swan. Dr Cleaver saw the need to establish a village lifestyle offering security, social contact and support for elderly people.
Today, Bentley Park is home to over 1,100 residents and offers an environment rich in social and cultural diversity where each resident contributes their own unique history and lifetime of experience and skills.
The SwanCare philosophy can be summed up in one word: Community.
