The home is located in a quiet precinct within a short walk to the local shops, public transport and the beach. Furnished with inviting décor and natural tones, Mercy Place Nixon is designed to be your home away from home. Warm and friendly with a strong community feel, the home accommodates 36 residents in three small households within the home. The kitchen is central to the smaller, cosy dining rooms. There are also intimate lounge areas, and beautiful outdoor courtyards and gardens, if you are looking for some quiet time for yourself. 

For residents’ privacy, all rooms are single occupancy and come with a private ensuite. While we make every effort to offer a homely environment, we encourage you to personalise your room with your favourite pictures and treasured keepsakes. Rooms are light and airy, with large windows so there will be plenty natural sunlight during the day.

We are passionate about residents enjoying their favourite pastimes and may be taking up some new ones. From music, painting, bowling to group exercise, there is always something for everyone. And if you are a green thumb or a budding gardener, you will enjoy keeping busy in our delightful green house and veggie patch. While we offer many lifestyle options for you to choose from, we will also support you with your own interests. Just tell us what you like and we will take care of the rest.

At Mercy Place Nixon, we take what’s on our menu very seriously. Working with our Chef & Nutritionist, we ensure you will have a good selection of well balanced & tasty home-style food at every mealtime. All your meals are cooked fresh in a dedicated on-site kitchen. You can choose to dine in the company of friends or privately in the comfort of your own room. The choice is entirely yours.
