MannaCare Cassia House
Overview
Centrally located and set well back from the road in extensive grounds in a residential area, Cassia House aged care facility provides for 90 residents all with single rooms with private ensuites.
Respite care places are also available. The facility aims to provide a home for those no longer able to remain living privately in the community due to their care needs and is committed to supporting the ongoing involvement of family members & friends.
Features include an entrance plaza and courtyard, numerous small lounge and dining areas.
A local playgroup meets weekly in one of the lounges.
Cassia House is a single level facility, renovated and extended in 2004 and extensively renovated in 2019. Accessed via a long linear park, the environment is quiet and peaceful with distant views to the northern ranges.
Centre Based Day Respite
In addition to Grevillea House Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), MannaCare offers an additional respite service. Centre-based day respite operates from Cassia House Residential Services site. This service operates Monday to Saturday and can provide flexible high care support. CHSP eligibility criteria apply.
