About
Living at The Willows
Situated in a quiet and peaceful area of Wheelers Hill, The Willows is a warm, inviting 60- bed home offering ageing in place care. Local attractions include Jells Park, Monash Library, Monash Art Gallery and a nearby shopping centre. Wheelers Hill is known for its trees and beautiful parklands. Directly across the road from The Willows is the Monash Gallery perfect for an afternoon stroll around the lake, feeding the ducks or taking in an array of art exhibitions.
The Willows has plenty of bright, sunny living areas where residents can relax, read from a selection of books from the onsite library or watch a movie in the cinema area. We also have raised garden beds where residents can indulge their green thumbs.
The Willows features Home2Home, Lifeview's small house model of care. Home2Home is a relationship-based model, where multi-skilled staff (housemates), work with the same group of residents, all the time. Home2Home enables staff to spend more meaningful time within their household, creating better continuity of care and building on already established relationships. Home2Home also enables residents to remain as independent as they wish, rise when they like, eat meals a time that suits them and partake in activities of their choosing.
The Willows is Rainbow Tick accredited with a Specialist Memory Support Program including The Virtual Forest and A Better Visit app for dementia residents.

There is a Registered Nurse on call around the clock, an approachable manager, dedicated team of housemates and an energetic social support team to enable resident needs.
The Willows has an informal, intimate atmosphere where families are very involved with day-to-day life. We promote interaction, friendship and laughter whilst providing a comfortable lifestyle. Respite stays are welcome.
Live life to the fullest
The Willows has a friendly, homely vibe with plenty of activities on offer through Lifeview’s Horizon Happenings program. Residents enjoy daily activities such as golf, bowls, billiards, darts, bocce, ten pin bowling, skittles, bingo, card games, art classes, Tai Chi and yoga to name a few. There are also enthusiastic theatre, knitting and quilting groups, a coffee group, walking groups and regular outings to local shopping centres and pubs for lunches via our Lifeview Bus. Keeping up community connections and discovering new possibilities is a big focus at Lifeview.
The Monthly Horizon Happenings calendar provides a variety of special events and entertainment so there is something happening for everyone. Themed events like a Roaring 20's Party, Valentine's Day, IDAHOT Day and football finals are specially celebrated at The Willows.
