Kubirri Aged Care Centre

Kubirri Aged Care Centre is a state-of-the-art aged care home with a close-knit community. Kubirri's dedicated team works towards promoting a caring and supportive lifestyle to support older Australians as they age, no matter their stage in life. All levels of care are available, including 24-hour permanent care, respite (short-term) care, dementia care and palliative care.

The Centre was designed in collaboration with industry experts to achieve a centre that is perfect for the tropics, offers comfort and accessibility for residents and has as minimal environmental impact as possible. You can enjoy the many beautiful landscaped gardens, views of the rainforest and surrounding greenery and convenient access to the Mossman town centre.

All rooms are single rooms with private ensuites, spacious designs and plenty of natural light. There are many comfortable communal living areas and modern amenities for you to use and enjoy.

An experienced and compassionate team go beyond the clinical, to take care of your physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. A variety of Lifestyle activities are run regularly each day, chosen in close consultation with residents to uphold your overall health and wellbeing. The goal is to encourage residents to pursue their hobbies and interests, and possibly discover new passions. A dedicated Salvation Army Chaplain is on site, who provides pastoral and spiritual care, if desired. 

Family and friends are an important part of the Kubirri community, and the Centre also has strong ties with the local community, often partaking in many community events and programs.
