Kubirri Aged Care Centre

Kubirri Aged Care Centre is a spacious and modern aged care home located in beautiful Mossman. A dedicated team strives to promote a caring and supportive lifestyle. The Centre provides a range of aged care services to older Australians, including 24-hour permanent care, short-term respite care, dementia care and palliative care.

Constructed in 2020, the Centre was designed in collaboration with industry experts to achieve a centre perfect for the tropics, that provided comfort and accessibility for residents and minimised environmental impact. Residents can enjoy the many beautiful landscaped gardens, views of the rainforest and surrounding greenery, and nearby access to the Mossman town centre.

All rooms are single rooms with private ensuites and plenty of natural light, and there are plenty of communal living areas with modern amenities. An experienced care team go beyond the clinical, to take care of the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of residents, to ensure that they are living their best lives. A variety of Lifestyle activities are run regularly, designed to uphold residents' overall health and wellbeing. These programs aim to help residents pursue their hobbies and interests, and possibly discover new passions. A dedicated Salvation Army Chaplain is on site, who provides pastoral and spiritual care to residents if they desire.

Family and friends are an important part of the Centre's community, and the Centre also has strong ties with the local community, often partaking in many community events and programs.
