Harold Hawthorne Community Centre in Carlisle was established in 1968 and offers a range of services and support to people in the local community.
The Centre is located right next door to the Retirement Village and offers a wide range of services including a luncheon diner open Monday to Friday, social activities, visiting Beauty Therapist, Podiatrist and Yoga Instructor & ample social and event space.

The Social Activities Centre at Harold Hawthorne Community Centre offers a wide range of activities for people affected by frailty, disability and/or mental health conditions. This includes opportunities for support on a variety of outings providing access to the wider community. Centre based activities such as morning tea, music and entertainment, arts and crafts, games and quizzes, and some therapeutic services are also available on site in the spacious Social Activities Centre.
The Social Activities Centre provides people with the opportunity to be an active part of the community while supported by friendly and experienced staff in a safe environment.
