Hadden Place is one of the respite centres in metropolitan Brisbane. The centre provides an important care and support network for people living with dementia and their carers.
The centre is set up to be as home-like as possible to allow clients to feel safe and relaxed in the environment and have a positive experience. The friendly, qualified staff use a wide range of innovative individual and group activities and therapies to help clients connect with their own interests, skills and strengths.
Using a therapy and respite model we provide clients with the type of day they might experience in their own homes. They can participate in gardening, cooking, a game or talking to friends.
