Fernlea Community Care - Emerald

With centres in Emerald and Pakenham, we’re a local, not-for-profit organisation who provides care for your loved one when you need a break.  We provide regular or one-off care for older people and people with life-limiting illnesses. We pamper our guests and provide a comfortable place to socialise, take part in activities and be treated like family.  It's a place where our guests can take time out to focus on themselves rather than any illness or limitations they may have.

​Each day is different, we let each guests choose their level of involvement. We have a number of carers on-site to assist guests, chat with them and make them feel comfortable.

Each day we provide:

• Group and individually-tailored activities matched to their abilities and interests
• A home-cooked morning tea and lunch
• Time for social interaction and relaxation
• Complementary therapies including Reiki and massage
• Personalised, focused care.

We're small and local and offer a more personalised service. Our business and carers are local so we understand and are invested in the same community as you. We're flexible and understand things can change. That’s why we have no lock-in contracts or exit fees.
