What is the Assistance with Care and Housing for the Aged service?
The Assistance with Care and Housing for the Aged (ACHA) service provides support for aged people who are living in inappropriate housing or are homeless or at risk of being homeless.
ACHA helps older people access appropriate housing and community care. Services include:
- Locating suitable accommodation
- Community support
- Assistance in removal and setting up in new housing
Who does ACHA support?
ACHA provides support to frail, low income older people who are renting, in housing, or who are homeless, in the Bankstown, Fairfield and Liverpool Local Government Areas.
