About Our Community
Nestled in the peaceful and scenic bushland of Wagga Wagga, Caloola Centre provides quality, specialist support to a well-loved community of individuals.
The 70-room facility boasts an impressive level of skilled staff and resources in providing quality, palliative care as well as security for those living with dementia. This includes our newly built sensory garden, delivering a safe and stimulating outdoor space for clients.
Life at Caloola can be as lively or as peaceful as you make it. If you like taking it slow, there are beautifully landscaped gardens bursting with Australian natives to relax in. If you like to stay fit, our on-site gym is the place for you. If you prefer to be pampered, a visit to our hair and beauty salon will do the trick. For the social butterfly, there’s always an activity to join or someone ready for a chat. When you want to go out, there are shops, clubs, and churches nearby.
Why choose BaptistCare?
We are committed to providing person-centred care that encourages independence and quality of life. Our philosophy of care is based on Christian principles that are reflected in all aspects of our purpose, vision, values and services.
Our well-trained staff can support a broad range of care needs to suit each of our residents: from those who are still fairly independent, to the ones with complex needs such as people living with dementia, right through to end of life care.
