Overview

Choice, Dignity and Independence are at the Heart of Everything We Do at Astley Care!

Astley Care has proudly served the Gosnells and Armadale communities as a not‑for‑profit organisation for more than 40 years. With deep local connections and a strong reputation for quality, we remain firmly established in the community while continually evolving to meet changing service requirements. Our commitment to staying up to date with technology ensures that we deliver care that is both innovative and responsive, while never losing sight of the values that have guided us for decades. We provide quality support for Seniors and their carers to remain living in their own homes. Astley Care can offer a wide range of tailored and flexible services to help you or your loved ones stay as independent as they want in their local community and live a life enriched with fulfilment.

Astley Care provides quality Day Club and Social Outing services to frail, older people, people with disabilities, and their carers living in their own homes. We employ local trustworthy staff who are comfortable in your community. We have staff in our Day Club who have worked with Astley care for over 15 years. We value our team, and they value you!

Our Day Club is open from Monday to Saturday, from 10 am to 3 pm.

Clients are actively involved in planning the programs and can choose their level of involvement in any activity. The Day Club is built on client choice and selection. The centre offers a range of activities in-house, including games, quizzes, concerts, and crafts and Community outings such as; restaurants, pubs, art centres, museums, shopping trips and other activities recommended in the groups.
We provide Lunch, Morning tea, refreshments and if needed, transportation.

In addition to our Daily Clubs, we have speciality Day Clubs.
Men’s group. A group designed by men for men.

Dementia-specific group. To attend the Dementia specific group, a diagnosis of Dementia is not required, and this is not the only group suitable for people with memory loss. Activities are adapted to incorporate all levels of memory loss and participation.

Evenings Carers group welcomes carers and the person they care for.
Like the Day Club, clients enjoy dinner together and can participate in activities and outings. The carer benefits by socialising with their partner/loved one in an accepting environment, making new friends, and sharing experiences.

Social Outings groups

Our Social Outing service is based on accessing the community. Some recent outings of choice have been to pubs, restaurants, the local library, shopping trips, and other places of interest.
