We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.
Daily Living at Altona Gardens
Our residents enjoy all kinds of creative pursuits, be it singing, music, arts or crafts, or even the occasional game of bocce. Our gardens are a source of pleasure for many, and our elevated vegetable patch is nurtured by residents in our gardening club, who enjoy harvesting fresh produce for our in-home chef to cook up at mealtimes.

The rooms are so nice with lots of amazing space , including large lounge and dining areas , lovely gardens in outdoor areas.
I left with such a positive feeling about the place
My dad loves seeing these three people at work, for some reason he smiles and glows when their on duty. We need more like them at Nursing Homes, the elderly know that this is where they will be till the end, they will never be able to go home again, so thank you Cheryl, Marilyn and Dang for giving these residents the best last days, weeks, months whatever it may be being happy, respected and most of all being treated as human beings.
