About

If you are feeling that your rights aren’t being respected, Advocacy Tasmania is here to help.

We provide free, independent and confidential advocacy services to older people and others. And we’ve been resolving rights-based issues for Tasmanians for over 30 years.

We can work with you to help you:

- get help to continue living independently

- understand and resolve concerns about your at-home services

- understand service provider agreements and fees charged

- resolve problems in your residential aged care home

- to make a complaint or raise concerns

- with any issues concerning Power of Attorney, Administrator or Guardian

- if you have a meeting scheduled and would like an independent support person

- if friends, family, staff or someone else is mistreating you

So, if you feel like you need someone in your corner, please contact us.
