We are conveniently located halfway between Brisbane and the beautiful Gold Coast. Our service is nestled within sprawling natural bushland set on 51 acres at the edge of the Karawatha State Forest. We offer an oasis of peace and tranquility with all the benefits of proximity to suburban amenities. Our residents enjoy privacy and are surrounded by natural beauty and an abundance of wildlife including wallabies, ducks and parrots.

Our facilities and environment give residents the opportunity to experience a sense of belonging in a dynamic and supportive community of approximately 200 people. Residents can choose to gather in the delightful community garden, spend time with the resident dogs and chickens, or hold a get together at the barbecue facilities.

My sister also lived here. Having the chapel here is a real support coming from our own home into the Church’s family. There’s a lot of support here from people in the community. It’s a lovely environment out of the traffic and away from a hectic busy life. There’s not a big time schedule it’s relaxing. It’s peaceful just to sit around the dam and the trees; coming from the land I find it to be a lovely environment with lots of wildlife. The first thing my husband asked for was a shed and he got it straight away to do his woodwork.” Lydia Stephan (Trinder Park resident for 18 months)

 Our residents have access to:

  • An expansive recreational activity program designed by dedicated activities staff.
  • Frequent outings to local attractions, the beach, picnics and live concerts.
  • A fully equipped recreational hall offering indoor bowls, billiards and snooker.
  • An active social committee.
  • A media room that screens movie greats, the latest DVDs and Wii computer games profiling golf and tennis.
  • A Men’s Club featuring activities like leather work, wood work and cards.
  • An Internet café with computer training.
  • A first class menu designed by our qualified Chef.
  • An on site hairdressing salon. A handy, onsite public bus service which runs throughout the grounds to shopping centres like the Hyperdome and Logan Central.
  • An on site allied health clinic for residents and the public providing podiatry, physiotherapy, speech pathology and massage services.

“Trinder Park had everything we needed and that was a big plus. I like that I don’t have a care in the world here. I don’t have to worry about the buildings or maintenance; life is just easy. I feel secure knowing I have ongoing care for the future and my changing health needs will be taken care of.” Ruth Hinds (Trinder Park resident for 21 years)

“Trinder Park is such a beautiful place: we have 51 acres of bushland here and I often describe it as an oasis in the middle of suburbia.”  (General Manager, Alan Lamb)
