We employ local trustworthy staff who are comfortable in your community. We have staff in our Day Club who have worked with Astley care for over 15 years. We value our team, and they value you!Our Day Club is open from Monday to Saturday, from 10 am to 3 pm.Clients are actively involved in planning the programs and can choose their level of involvement in any activity. The Day Club is built on client choice and selection. The centre offers a range of activities in-house, including games, quizzes, concerts, and crafts and Community outings such as; restaurants, pubs, art centres, museums, shopping trips and other activities recommended in the groups. We provide Lunch, Morning tea, refreshments and if needed, transportation.In addition to our Daily Clubs, we have speciality Day Clubs. Men’s group. A group designed by men for men. Dementia-specific group. To attend the Dementia specific group, a diagnosis of Dementia is not required, and this is not the only group suitable for people with memory loss. Activities are adapted to incorporate all levels of memory loss and participation. Evenings Carers group welcomes carers and the person they care for. Like the Day Club, clients enjoy dinner together and can participate in activities and outings. The carer benefits by socialising with their partner/loved one in an accepting environment, making new friends, and sharing experiences.Social Outings groups Our Social Outing service is based on accessing the community. Chung Wah Community and Respite Hubs are here to help you and your loved ones live a better life that is filled with respect and choices in a culturally diverse environment. Located in Balcatta and Willetton, our 2 Hubs offer culturally appropriate services which are designed to enhance social interactions as well as physical and mental health. We provide door-to-door transport, personalised physical exercise, a diverse range of in-centre and outing group activities, meals and refreshments.   Caring for an elderly loved one is rewarding, but it can be challenging too. Our Hubs also support carers by providing day-long respite care to our seniors and NDIS participants. At the community hubs of Chung Wah Community Care (formerly Chung Wah Community & Aged Care), you can have peace of mind and relief knowing your loved ones are in the right place with all their needs met with many activities, exercise, good food and supportive friends. Join our Evergreen College at our Community Hubs! One of the great things about getting older is that you have more time to devote to your favourite hobbies and interests. Not only is this a lot of fun, but having a hobby or leisure activity is also really important for overall health and well-being. Chung Wah CC’s Evergreen College offers seniors a range of activities, outings and classes based on individual interests.Our Evergreen College program goes beyond the day-to-day and nurture your well-being by offering you opportunities to learn a new skill, discover a new hobby, and make new friends. Most importantly the program is designed to support seniors to stay healthy, happy and active. Our professional and passionate staff are bilingual, and our activities are tailored to cater for individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse background. The Bethanie West Perth Centre is conveniently located just a short drive from Perth city. The centre offers a comprehensive program of wellbeing and social activities. There are participants from a range of cultural backgrounds. You’ll experience a warm welcome and have the chance to meet new friends while participating in activities that cover many interests. Our focus is on your wellbeing, and our local team is on hand to help you access community support that you, or a loved one, may need to continue living well and safely.To achieve this, our Social Centres focus on your individual strengths and interests, and offer fun and flexible services in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. Activity that promotes leisure and encourages community participation and contribution.  Health Promotion to maintain and improve your health and independence. Social Engagement including engaging outings and events. Therapy provided in small groups or 1:1 to improve your well-being. From participating in a range of engaging events and activities, to enriching your mind listening to a guest speaker, or learning to connect with your grandkids on social media, our Social Centres provide great opportunities to meet new friends. The Bethanie South Metro Centre provides great opportunities to meet new friends and participate in a range of engaging events and activities. Situated on Olivenza Crescent in Port Kennedy, the centre maintains a focus on general and social wellbeing and keeping connected with others in your community. To achieve this, our Social Centres focus on your individual strengths and interests, and offer fun and flexible services in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. Activity that promotes leisure and encourages community participation and contribution.  Health Promotion to maintain and improve your health and independence. Social Engagement including engaging outings and events. Therapy provided in small groups or 1:1 to improve your well-being. Meet new people and enjoy a range of social lunch outings, picnics and BBQs, and dinner clubs. We have centre based days which included meaningful and constructed arts and crafts, brain teasers, group games, and entertainment such as singer and dancers. We provide transport to and from the Centre from the local area, as well as meals and refreshments. And if you are caring for someone, we’ll support you both, to enjoy meaningful time, activity and engagement with others.

Harold Hawthorne Community Centre (The Centre) has been an integral part of and supporter of the local community since 1968. As a non-for profit organisation, located in Carlisle, The Centre connects people through services, programs, activities and events that enrich their overall wellbeing and provide opportunities for them to become active members of a thriving community. The Centre offers an extensive range of home support services to enable seniors to be socially connected and independent in achieving their goals and remain living independently in their own homes.The Social Activities Centre (SAC) provides a wide range of activities and outings for people who may be socially isolated or looking to increase their connection to the community.  Our team design programs and activities in consultation with our service users to provide them with enjoyable, engaging, safe, meaningful and wellness focused activities, outings and events. Tony Quinlan Respite Centre in Hilton offers valuable support to carers of people in later life, and those living with dementia. The Centre provides an essential service to carers in the local community by providing day or overnight respite on either a one-off or regular basis. Providing an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere for clients, our trained staff take the time to understand the needs and interests of the clients they care for and have developed a broad range of activities that are designed to promote cognitive stimulation and social connections. The Centre can cater for up to 20 clients per day, including six overnight clients at any one time. Day respite is from 9am to 3.30pm unless prior arrangements have been made with the Centre Coordinator. Overnight respite is for a 24-hour period and clients can be dropped off from 9am. The centre is open for visitors between 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday. *Southern Plus is a registered trademark of Southern Cross Care WA, a not-for-profit organisation delivering aged care services to West Australians for over 50 years. 

Our Bran Nue Dae Centre and unique Breakfast club supports local residents of Broome and the wider Kimberley region to access much needed care, whilst respecting individual cultural and spiritual needs. Recognising that the Kimberley region has challenges specific to remote living and care needs for aging indigenous seniors, Bran Nue Dae's Breakfast Club was established to provide an option for individuals who wish to enjoy remote living, however due to health or family issues, seek a support service that respects their cultural needs. Breakfast Club is a unique service to Broome and can be accessed through Home Care packages. Clients can be transported to the day centre where they can enjoy a delicious, cooked breakfast, shower and laundry facilities, and social engagement. Breakfast Club gives our clients the opportunity to connect with others and maintain their morning routines and independence in a safe environment. Bran Nue Dae is co-located with our residential aged care home Germanus Kent House.   

Donovan House Respite Centre in Forrestfield provides an essential service to carers in the local community, offering day or overnight respite when needed. The centre can cater for up to 20 clients per day including five overnight clients. Day respite is from 9am to 3.30pm unless prior arrangements have been made with the Centre Coordinator and clients can visit on a one-off or regular basis. Overnight respite is for a 24-hour period and clients can be dropped off from 9am. The centre is open for visitors between 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday. Carers can access Government funding for in-home, overnight cottage and day respite through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme/Home Care Package or can choose to pay for respite services privately. 

The Bethanie Maali Centre is the perfect place to make friends in a social and welcoming environment. Located in Bunbury Maali is an active social centre with an engaging, inclusive environment and focus on wellbeing. Events occur on weekdays and weekends. Participants are from a range of cultural backgrounds.Our Social Centres focus on your individual strengths and interests, and offer fun and flexible services in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. Activity that promotes leisure and encourages community participation and contribution.  Health Promotion to maintain and improve your health and independence. Social Engagement including engaging outings and events. Therapy provided in small groups or 1:1 to improve your well-being. Aged Care Social Groups We run several community friendship groups to provide opportunities to meet people and avoid social isolation.Melville Cares Friendship ClubThe Friendship Club meets Mon-Fri at the Southern Districts Senior Citizens Centre in Willagee - make friends, laugh and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal. We can provide transport too.Friendship Groups for People with DementiaOur interactive dementia program is designed to provide opportunities to socialise, communicate and engage in a safe, stimulating environment. At St Basil’s WA, our Community Day Centre provides more than just day respite—it’s a welcoming multicultural space where older people can build friendships, enjoy meaningful activities, and stay connected to their community and culture. Our Centre offers a warm, inclusive environment where clients can participate in social events, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch, and take part in planned outings that promote wellbeing and enjoyment. This program also supports carers by giving them valuable time to rest, recharge, or attend to personal matters, knowing their loved one is in safe, supportive hands. We proudly welcome people from all cultural backgrounds and tailor our services to reflect the diverse needs of our community.Eligibility To attend the Centre, individuals must live in the northern or eastern metropolitan areas of Perth. Accessing Our Services To join our Day Centre program, please contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 and request a referral for St Basil’s Centre-Based Respite. We accept clients through a range of funding options including: • Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) • Support at Home (from November 2025) • Fee for Service (Private Clients or Home Care Package holders) Attendance Fees Fees vary depending on funding arrangements. As a guide: • Daily attendance: $12.50 • Transport (each way): $5.00 • Lunch (freshly prepared): $10.00 Some outings or special events may attract an additional cost.
