Silverchain has been recognised with six prestigious platinum awards at the 2026 LearnX Awards, highlighting the organisation’s leadership in learning innovation, workforce capability and the design of industry leading solutions for Australia in home health and aged care workforce.

The LearnX Awards are internationally recognised and independently judged against rigorous criteria, with ‘platinum’ status reserved for entries scoring 90 and 100 points.
Silverchain’s awards this year acknowledge excellence across learning design to prepare the organisation for aged care reform, custom bespoke learning applications to drive and support clinical capability, and the collective achievements of Group Capability and People & Culture teams.

Silverchain’s Director of People & Culture, Melida Smit said the awards reflect the organisation’s long-standing commitment to investing in its 5,900-strong workforce and ambition to creating a better home care system for all Australians.

“These awards are a testament to Silverchain’s dedication to innovation and excellence in health and aged care education,” Ms Smit said.

“They recognise the pioneering efforts of our learning design, people and culture, and capability teams, who continue to push the boundaries to ensure our workforce is confident, connected and equipped to deliver the best care.”

Silverchain received Platinum Awards in the following categories:

  • Learning and Capability Team (Aged Care reform)
  • Learning and Development Team (Aged Care reform)
  • Custom/Bespoke Learning (Community Palliative Care)
  • Learning Impact (Foundations in Mental Health training)
  • Learning and Development (Palliative Care emergencies online learning)
  • People & Culture Team (Successful implementation of Silverchain’s People & Culture strategy)

Now in its 17th year, the LearnX Awards have recognised more than 2,500 projects from around the world and remain among the most sought-after accolades in professional learning talent development and workforce innovation.
