Immanuel Gardens Aged Care unveils a multi-million dollar transformation

In a significant development for aged care in the Sunshine Coast, Lutheran Services’ Immanuel Gardens Aged Care has unveiled its groundbreaking ‘Eucalypt’ project.

This $2.8 million dollar initiative is the now-completed first stage of a larger $7.8 million dollar renovation project, aimed at enhancing the lives of aged care residents in Buderim and its surrounding areas.

The Eucalypt project is more than just a renovation; it’s a commitment to promoting choice, independence and dignity for the elderly residents of Immanuel Gardens Aged Care. With its purpose-built, state-of-the-art design, Eucalypt offers a fresh perspective on aged care living.

Key features of the Eucalypt project

Brand new rooms — the project has created 20 brand new rooms, designed with the utmost consideration for residents’ comfort and well-being.

Stunning new servery and kitchen — Eucalypt boasts a stunning new and residential-style kitchen, where residents can enjoy delicious meals prepared with care and attention.

Inspired by nature — the fit-out is inspired by Australia’s unique flora and fauna, with each room featuring a calm and contemporary colour palette, fostering a soothing and peaceful environment.

Happy Table initiative — one of the stand-out features of the Eucalypt project is the innovative ‘Happy Table’ initiative. This contemporary design focuses on enhancing residents’ dining experience, complete with a stylish, restaurant-quality service that brings a touch of elegance to mealtime.

What's to come

Following the completion of the Eucalypt project, which is a significant milestone for the community, there is much more in store for Immanuel Gardens Aged Care. Stages two to four of the renovation project, valued at $5 million dollars, are set to commence later this year. This ongoing commitment to improvement ensures that the aged care community will continue to evolve and meet the changing needs of its residents.

Lutheran Services’ Immanuel Gardens Aged Care is situated at 10 Magnetic Drive, Buderim, offering a unique and tranquil setting. Nestled on 25 acres, this private hilltop retreat provides residents with coastal vistas, making it a truly special place for aged care.
