Theresa is a Dementia Care Specialist whose focus is to provide people diagnosed with dementia and their families the knowledge to live the most productive and comfortable life possible by helping them understand the illness and the myths surrounding it. Her ultimate goal is to make the journey easier. Theresa has a Degree in Dementia Care from a leading university in Australia, other qualifications include an Advanced Certificate in Counselling and Certification in Health Coaching. While these qualifications are useful, Theresa believes that her lived experience is what can benefit her clients the most. She travelled the journey of dementia with her mother for 10 years.

Care staff assist with programs as required. Do you or someone you know have early stage dementia or memory loss? People who are under 65 and have a diagnosis of dementia broadly meet the eligibility criteria to access support through the NDIS. Alzheimer’s WA is an NDIS service provider and also offers Support Coordination and Service Coordination.
