Training for retaining
Eight staff members from Victorian provider TLC Aged Care, who completed a unique business management course have been recognised in a graduation ceremony.
The Diploma of Business (Frontline Management) was specifically developed for TLC’s clinical and administrative staff, by learning and development organisation, Business Training, and its focus is on broader business and management skills.
The course has been specifically tailored for the aged care industry to help staff adjust to new demands in an increasingly complex industry.
The content is applicable to most businesses, but all the examples, assignments and readings have been tailored to aged care.
The extended training opportunity was part of TLC’s commitment to improving retention in a tight labour market.
