If you have the urge, scratch your leg
A Victorian physiotherapist says that women trying to control the sudden urge to go to the toilet need only vigorously scratch or rub their calf muscle.
Janetta Webb has reported that rubbing or scratching the back of your calf for a few moments “may interrupt the message from your bladder to your brain just long enough for you to make it to the toilet”.
However, pelvic floor exercises were still the best long – term way to improve incontinence.
