Hoon breaks age barrier
Victoria’s oldest hoon has had his car seized under state legislation which aims to get dangerous drivers off the road.
The Herald Sun has reported that a 55 year old had his 1993 Holden Ute seized after he was doing ‘burn-outs’ in a Ferntree Gully Hotel car park.
He will be charged with careless driving, improper use of the vehicle, and exceeding the blood alcohol limit.
More than 2,000 cars have been seized in the first year of the anti-hoon laws but most belonged to young men.
