Environmental audit for Anzac Hostel
Vasey RSL Care’s ANZAC Hostel in Brighton, Victoria, has been chosen as one of four aged care facilities around Australia to participate in an environmental audit to be conducted by the Issue Communications Company.
This has been an initiative of the Aged Care Association of Australia (ACAA) in conjunction with Commonwealth Government assistance.
The aim of the energy and environmental assessment is to identify opportunities for the ANZAC Hostel to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, reduce its operational cost, engage staff and help improve staff retention.
The outcomes of this audit could see savings passed onto other aged care facilities.
