The Digital Health Show discusses technological advancements in the health industry.

Proudly presenting The Digital Health Show, held 29-30 March at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, where the digital health ecosystem meets for two extraordinary days of collaboration, innovation, and opportunities.

Co-located with the Connect Expo, leaders from the business technology and health sector peripheries come together to discusses innovation and technology in digital health and aged care, and more importantly – opportunities to collaborate to create better impact.

Disruption literally uproots and changes how we think, behave, do business, learn and go about our day-to-day. Australian Digital Health Agency CEO and keynote speaker at the Digital Health Show, Tim Kelsey, says “62% of Australians are now routinely online banking, in a way that they weren’t a decade ago. This has been a quiet, and HUGE, social transformation from which we can learn a lot – when it comes to healthcare.

Kelsey outlines 3 very important points as to why the digital health agenda is so important:

  • Digital health is NOT about technology, it’s about being connected, communicative. It’s about openness, transparency, empowering people.
  • Digital health and integration is simply a matter of human respect for our patients – at a point when they are most vulnerable, and the paper system forgets them.
  • It’s also about systems that do people harm, and don’t know when they are doing people harm. We’ve all been faced with avoidable mortalities.

If we don’t disrupt our models of care, we will continue to be disrupted from providing the best care in the most efficient way. A way we can create something worthwhile is to collaborate and join forces with those who are already disrupting the model and riding the big waves.

Competition makes us faster.

Collaboration makes us better.

The Digital Health Show, held on the 29-30 March 2017, at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, is where you can bring collaboration to life. The event is a major showcase of innovation and technology in digital health and aged care, and more importantly – opportunities to collaborate to create better impact. This year, collaboration is a stronger theme then ever – with The Digital Health Show co-located with the Connect Expo – a tech innovation festival that brings over 6000 attendees and covers over 22 different industries.

Bringing together the leaders and technology suppliers in the digital health ecosystem, this is the chance meet and discuss what is needed to transition health into the digital economy.
