There are four types of room: Riverview, Leven Lane (secure dementia), Gardenview and Gardenview-penthouse. The Riverview, Leven Lane and Gardenview rooms are spacious and have their own private ensuites. The Gardenview-penthouse is an extra-large modern room with a desk and private ensuite.

Our residents have access to nursing staff, doctors, mental health professionals and a variety of physical therapists. Food & Diet
A dedicated catering department cooks everything fresh, ready to serve, in-house. Residents give feedback regularly, with menus rotated seasonally. Menu options are offered in accordance with what residents want and are supported by dietitians. Fresh food arrives throughout the week and is provided locally through the Oscar Hospitality Program.

Baptcare Karingal Community is a 112-bed home offering predominately high level care and accommodation. At Baptcare Karingal Community, you can expect 24 hour support which includes nursing assessment & individualised care management. Individuals also have access to social programs which are therapeutic, as well as emotional and spiritual support.
Our aim is to provide individualised support to every individual. This ensures that the people in our care continue to live dignified and fulfilling lives in the way they may choose. We aim to help people live their life as naturally as possible.
Our home provides specific support to people when they are first admitted. This is structured in such a way to help them and their families become comfortable, knowledgeable and familiar with their new environment.
The home offers respite care. Our respite program is for planned short term respite only. To be eligible for respite, you must have a valid assessment from the Aged Care Assessment Service.

Eliza Purton Home is a 96-bed facility with a secure dementia unit, located on a hill overlooking the town of Ulverstone with spectacular views of the Leven River, surrounding mountains and the ocean.
The Eliza Purton Home was officially opened in 1964 on land generously donated by Ulverstone local William Purton. The home is named after Mr Purton’s beloved mother, Eliza.
Rooms
There are four types of rooms available: standard, premium, deluxe & superior. All rooms have private ensuites. The dementia units occupy the newer portion.The original home was built in 1964 with extra wings added in 1995 and a major renovation completed in 2021.Team Structure

Dedicated specialists like physiotherapists, podiatrists and optometrists are available upon request and make frequent visits. Hairdressers come in weekly and are available by appointment.

Activities & Excursions
Regular meetings are held by residents to help determine what programs and social activities are offered. Bus trips to surrounding countryside and other places of interest happen a couple times a month. Regular visits with a Registered Music Therapist are also organised for the enjoyment of our residents.
Meercroft Care Inc is an autonomous aged care facility located approximately two kilometres from the Devonport Post Office, overlooking Bass Strait.
Our complex was the first Home for the Aged in Devonport opened in 1959 with eight cottages, culminating in today’s modern, bright aged care facility meeting both certification and accreditation standards.
