Meercroft Care
Overview
Meercroft Care Inc is an autonomous aged care facility located approximately two kilometres from the Devonport Post Office, overlooking Bass Strait.
Our complex was the first Home for the Aged in Devonport opened in 1959 with eight cottages, culminating in today’s modern, bright aged care facility meeting both certification and accreditation standards.
At present we operate in five sections represented by:
- Residential
- Dementia
- Munnew Day Centre
- Retirement Living.

Meercroft Care Inc will pursue the “quality of life” of residents as an active and ongoing program in all areas of accommodation and care, providing for them in an atmosphere of love & respect and believing in the human dignity of everyone, whether resident, visitor or member of the staff.
