The Italo-Australian Welfare & Cultural Centre Inc (IAWCC) has been a peak Organisation in the Italian Community since its inception in 1956, and over the years it has helped many thousands of people through its charitable fundraising events and through the many educational, welfare and cultural programs and social activities which are offered for the benefit of both the Italian and Australian Communities.
Its Home Care Packages (HCP) Program, which is subsidised by the Department of Health and Aged Care, offers coordinated and planned packages of care services to assist older Italian people, including other CALD ethnicities and general, to remain living in their homes. Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 HCPs are administered on behalf of clients. Private personal home care services are also offered.
