Amana Living McCusker Nurse Service South is free of charge to carers of people living with dementia. We understand the stress you're under, and the confusion you can feel when you need support but don’t know where to turn. McCusker Nurses are experienced registered nurses specialising in dementia who can: offer advice, support and reassurance; provide accurate information on available resources; and guide you to dementia services most likely to help you. This is a unique service in Australia, developed by Amana Living and funded by the McCusker Charitable Foundation, Perpetual Trustees and Amana Living Anglican Foundation.

Dementia Together offers dementia consulting, occupational therapy, and personalised support for people living with dementia and their care partners. We focus on maintaining safety, independence, and well-being at home and in the community through education, skill development, and collaborative problem-solving. Our services include consulting and education to increase awareness and reduce stigma, occupational therapy to support independence and meaningful participation, and care partner coaching through evidence-based programs such as COPE (Care of People with Dementia in their Environments). We provide person-centred support across the Perth Metro region, with flexible and accessible telehealth options available on request.

Theresa is a Dementia Care Specialist whose focus is to provide people diagnosed with dementia and their families the knowledge to live the most productive and comfortable life possible by helping them understand the illness and the myths surrounding it. Her ultimate goal is to make the journey easier. Theresa has a Degree in Dementia Care from a leading university in Australia, other qualifications include an Advanced Certificate in Counselling and Certification in Health Coaching. While these qualifications are useful, Theresa believes that her lived experience is what can benefit her clients the most. She travelled the journey of dementia with her mother for 10 years.

Do you or someone you know have early stage dementia or memory loss?
