Following a recent refurbishment, we now have five vacancies available at our care home Lealholme in Port Pirie, which is set amongst a backdrop of nature reserves and peaceful gardens.
Family and community are central to the day-to-day experience of Lealholme. Residents stay connected with regular events such as movie nights, concerts and bus excursions arranged by a dedicated Lifestyles Coordinator.
This fully accredited facility offers accommodation for up to 104 people and the majority of rooms overlook the gardens.
All rooms are comfortably furnished with electric beds, built-in wardrobes, lockable storage, fabric curtains and carpet. In addition, each room is fitted out with wide doors, a nurse call point and an individually controlled air conditioning system. Everyone is encouraged to personalise their rooms with furniture or belongings that are special to them. If you choose, you can also have a telephone, personal computer or bar fridge installed in your room.
Daily events include arts and crafts, snooker, indoor bowls, bingo and exercise therapy. Lealholme has established relationships with local kindergartens and residents enjoy inter-generational activities.
In 2016, the facilities were upgraded to include a specialised, built for purpose, Memory Support Unit.

Helping Hand currently has a Superior Single Room with private ensuite, available at our North Adelaide care home.
This fully accredited facility offers accommodation for 155 people and the majority of rooms overlook the gardens. All rooms are comfortably furnished with electric beds, built-in wardrobes, lockable storage, fabric curtains and carpet. In addition, each room is fitted out with wide doors, a nurse call point and an individually controlled air conditioning system. Everyone is encouraged to personalise their rooms with furniture or belongings that are special to them. If you choose, you can also have a telephone, personal computer or bar fridge installed in your room.
Helping Hand Parafield Gardens

We currently have a vacancy at our residential care home in Parafield Gardens.
There is a real sense of community at Parafield Gardens. They have a fantastic lifestyles program and there is always something new to try.
This fully accredited facility offers accommodation for up to 80 people and the majority of rooms overlook the gardens. Parafield Gardens is known for its beautiful outdoor courtyards, these are great spaces for quiet reflection, reading or catching up with friends and families.
All rooms are comfortably furnished with electric beds, built-in wardrobes, lockable storage, fabric curtains and carpet. In addition, each room is fitted out with wide doors, a nurse call point and an individually controlled air conditioning system.

Parafield Gardens recently completed an extensive capital works program. The upgrade included a new café and library area, new landscaped garden areas and courtyards, and refurbishment of resident rooms.
