The District Nurses have been providing community nursing and in home support, for people of all ages, since 1896.
The District Nurses Short Term Restorative Care (STRC) is a high intensity period of care, up to a maximum of 56 days that can provide a range of care and services to help prevent or reduce difficulties you may have completing everyday tasks.
STRC aims to improve a person’s wellbeing and independence to help them continue living at home.
The District Nurses do not charge clients fees for STRC packages.
The types of services you may receive through STRC include but are not limited to:

• Physiotherapy
• Occupational therapy
