Changes in your health can have a significant impact on your quality of life.  Your Care Manager will work with you to develop a care plan and budget that will assist you to maintain your health and wellbeing.

Olivet Home Care can support you to manage your Home Care Package. Making the most of the funding available to you enables you to keep doing the activities you enjoy and to stay connected to your community. We’ll work with you to make sure that you have what you need to keep living well at home.

Building on Olivet’s’ extensive experience caring for older people, we offer a range of allied health and home care services to suit your individual circumstances. FULL CASE MANAGEMENT

At Olivet Home Care we provide full case management. 

The Care Managers’ role is to ensure that you are getting the right care and services to suit your situation, and support you to live the life you want.

We welcome and encourage discussion and questions about what is available through the Home Care Package and your Care Manager is available to assist you.

The range of services available through a Home Care Package may include but are not limited to:

Household Chores - Our home care workers can help around the house including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation

Hygiene Needs - Our home care workers are trained to help you with daily hygiene tasks such as help with showering and dressing

Light Gardening - We can give you a hand around the garden to help you keep it looking beautiful, healthy and tidy

Allied Heath Services - Physiotherapy, massage, podiatry, nursing, and allied health services are available in our home care packages

Socialising - Our home care services are perfect for adding a little fun to life. We provide social connections & activities to keep you entertained

Transportation - Our home care services can assist with transport to and from shopping trips, regular appointments and social activities

Help you stay safe - We can arrange for you to be assessed by an Occupational Therapist to ensure you have the appropriate aides and equipment to keep you safe

In-home respite -

Olivet provides in-home respite to give carers and love ones a break. This allows carers to continue doing the things they enjoy

Olive Grove House is Olivet Care’s Centre-based Respite program for aged people living in the community

The program is designed for those who live at home in the community and would like to participate in interesting activities. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for carers to take a break while knowing their loved ones are in a positive, safe, and supportive environment.

Olive Grove House has differing groups over the course of the week to meet each individual’s needs

Who can attend?
•   People who are feeling socially isolated, or lonely
•   People who are needing a little more care
•    People with a diagnosis of dementia or an associated disorder that causes memory loss or confusion
•    Clients are accepted from all religious, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, irrespective of gender, disability or capacity to pay fees

At Olivet Care's day programs, there is something for everyone
•   Each client who attends Olive Grove House is treated as an individual and helping them to maintain their independence is as important to our staff as it is to them.
•   Our programs are run by skilled and experienced staff and provide group-based activities in a relaxed environment. Staff work with clients and develop activities that promote wellness, reablement, and restorative care approaches.
•   A variety of activities are offered which are based on those that attend interests. If you don’t want to join you don’t have to. You are free to make choices about the activities you would like to do and whether or not you wish to join.

•   Socialisation - Improves mood, cognition, and memory recall! Consistent social interactions are associated with healthy behaviours, improve longevity and reduce the chance of stress and isolation.
•    A Sense of Community - Having strong community support promotes quality of life, social inclusion, and advocates for those who need their voice to be heard on issues that are important in the journey towards aging.
