Navigating aged care can be confusing, but you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Our experienced team is here to guide you every step of the way, from accessing government funding to choosing the right services for you or your loved one.

Government-funded home care you can trust

VMCH is an approved provider of both the Home Care Packages (HCP) program and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP). These government-funded programs help older Australians access care and support at home.

We’ve been supporting older Victorians for more than 100 years. As a Catholic not-for-profit organisation, we’re focused on people, not profit. And while our values are Catholic, our services are available to everyone.

Coming soon: Support at Home Program

From 1 July 2025, the Australian Government will replace the Home Care Packages program with a new model called the Support at Home Program.

While the funding model will change, VMCH’s quality of care and personal approach will stay the same. We’re already preparing for this transition, and our team will continue to support clients to access the right services and make the most of their funding.

If you’re unsure about what the new program means for you, we can help explain it and provide support as things change.

Please note: The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) will continue until at least 2027.
