These programs are also designed so that they can keep pursuing their hobbies and interests, and possibly discover new passions. Dedicated Salvation Army Chaplains are onsite, who can provide pastoral and spiritual care to residents, if they desire. Food is prepared onsite using fresh produce by an experienced catering team. Each menu is developed in regular discussion with a dietician and the residents.Family and friends are an important part of the Macquarie Lodge community and the Centre also has close ties with local community organisations, often inviting local schools and entertainers for activities and joining in on community initiatives.

Mary Mackillop has a dementia specific ‘safe haven’ unit.Grasmere Terrace consists of 100 shared and singles suites, all with ensuites, and designed with open plan and modern décor. Each has a high/low bed, lockable bedside table with built-in wardrobes. Grasmere Terrace consumers have access to spacious open plan lounge areas ideal for family gatherings, a number of different activity areas and dining rooms. The lounge areas open out onto modern outdoor settings that take advantage of our stunning rural views and gardens.Paling Court consists of 130 suites for singles, shared or couples in a luxurious home-like environment. Paling Court has open plan lounge rooms with spacious balcony areas, an impressive open air courtyard, dining rooms and beautifully designed sitting areas that are perfect for family gatherings as well as access to a reflection room.
