Mersey Community Care Association Inc, provides transport, home maintenance, domestic assistance, social support group and social support individual services, to assist and support our consumers to remain living independently in their own homes from as long as possible.

The transport service is a door to door service that can transport consumers to medical and social appointments state wide. The organisation offers a variety of vehicles for consumers to utilise, including a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

The home maintenance service offers garden and lawn mowing maintenance and can provide a variety of other home maintenance duties, with an emphasis on emergency services, such as: replacing light globes, tap washers and batteries in smoke alarms.

The domestic assistance service can provide regular cleaning or one-off spring cleaning, to support our consumers to maintain their homes in a safe and habitable condition. Unacccomapnied shopping is also provided under the domestic assistance umbrella.

The social support individual service can provide assisted shopping, visiting and short times of respite for a carer.

The social support group activities, provides consumers with half and full-day social bus trips. The bus trips provide consumers with opportunities to meet other people and enjoy a morning tea or lunch destination. The bus trips often involve visiting venues such as: gardens and flower shows, cheese factories, specialty shops, cinema and much more.
