Lighthouse Disability is a not-for-profit organisation based in the north and north-east of Adelaide.
The journey of Lighthouse Disability started over 35 years ago when a dedicated group of parents, familiar with the challenges and needs of their children with diverse and complex disabilities, joined forces to develop accommodation support for their loved ones.
Many of our founding clients and their families have remained part of our community throughout the years. Their continued presence speaks volumes about the quality of support and trust we have consistently provided.
While the composition of our board has transformed over time, transitioning from family members to skill-based business leaders, we remain deeply connected with our roots and value the ongoing involvement of our founding members.
Together with our dedicated staff, we continue to deliver a service that people can depend on.
Services
Supported Independent Living
Supported Independent Living (or SIL) is an NDIS support where you live individually in a house or with other people in a share house. Depending on your support needs, we have support workers available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
We will support you with daily tasks like cooking, personal care, household chores, going to appointments and taking medication. As a provider of community participation, we can also support you to engage with activities, events, groups, and services in your local community.
- Skilled & Experienced Support Workers. All our support workers are well trained, passionate and experienced to support people with a range of disabilities, meaning you will receive reliable support.
- Registered NDIS Provider. With robust quality and safeguarding systems, as well as mandatory training and screening requirements for all our staff, you can trust us to deliver a dependable support.

Plan Management
Think of a NDIS plan manager as your own bookkeeper for all your NDIS supports. They make sure your invoices are paid, that you have enough funding in your budget and keep in regular contact with your providers, including your support coordinator. This is different to self-managing or having the NDIA manage your funding.
- You can depend on us. We pride ourselves on delivering a unique and personalised experience to all our clients. You will have an allocated Plan Manager who will get to know you and ensure your NDIS invoices are paid on time, meaning you can get back to what matters most.

- We pay invoices fast. We understand that time is of the essence, so we prioritise quick turnarounds for our client's NDIS invoices.
