Owner Wendy, has an extensive aged care experience gained through her roles as an aged care assessor, residential and community manager, and admissions and contracts manager. These roles saw Wendy visit and gain an understanding of most South Australian and Northern Territory aged care facilities.

In her career Wendy has experienced positive relationships with our older adults and has been present when they’ve shared feelings about their aged care experience. JACS was borne out of a desire to improve the aged care journey for clients and family members. We understand the stress and strain felt by everyone involved during placement, so we carry out our work with warmth and compassion – clients and family members remain at the centre of everything we do.

JACS has a strong handle on aged care. We will answer all your questions about living in an aged care facility, whether it is information about managing clinical needs, lifestyle programs or aged care costs, JACS offers real peace of mind.

Due to her unique knowledge, Wendy has a thorough understanding of aged care facilities, community programs and what they offer. Importantly for clients, Wendy appreciates that aged care facilities are not the same – ‘one size does not fit all’. At JACS we know that, for placement to be positive and successful, we have a responsibility to ensure clients are matched with the correct facility or program. This is especially important for those living with dementia or from a culturally diverse background.

We will coordinate and manage your entry into aged care. JACS will complete and submit all aged care documents and ensure you understand your financial situation and options. Importantly, our support will not stop there. We appreciate everyone needs additional support and a strong shoulder to lean on during and after placement. For those left at home Jigsaw offers short term case management and can coordinate services such as, home based care so individuals remain living safely at home.
