Services include lawn mowing, pruning of shrubs, cleaning gutters, changing light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries and other odd jobs.Respite & Carer Support – in the HomeTaking on a carer role is a role we don't take lightly. It can be one of the most rewarding roles, whilst also being exhausting at times. Sometimes, a carer may want to do something special for themselves; if you don't feel you can do this in your caring role or don't do this often enough, we can help by supporting your loved one while you go out. Our support workers are well trained, including in dementia care, and will provide company in the home, outings, personal care, meal preparation and light housework to give the carer a break. Respite can be provided on a regular, planned, or one-off basis and is available on weekdays. Limited hours are also open on weekends and evenings to enable carers to attend special occasions. Please know you don't have to be an 'official' registered carer for access to this service. Even if you have not yet been assessed for support, please feel free to call us to find out how Astley Care Home Care's lower-level support can help you live your best life!

Unique Care and Accommodation

Gunghalin, ACT 2912
Unique Care was originally known as Uniquekids when it was founded in 2015. It was a service to help and assist children with different Neuorological needs such as Autism/ ADHD. As our client base grew it was very clear that there was a great need for this service across all age groups and mental health conditions. We have now transitioned into Unique Care and Accommodation.Unique Care and Accommodation provides individualised services and short term accommodation to NDIS clients. All of our carers are individually chosen and have a lived experience in the area of mental health. This makes makes them the most compassionate and knowledgable care team we can provide. Our founder Julia Kilner has grown up in a family of neurodiversity which lead her down a path of education and discovery just when awareness was in it's infancy. We understand the challenges neurodiverse people face living in a predominantly neurotypical world. Our mission is to bridge the gap and identify the support needed to live a happy meaningful life.
