Overview
The Epilepsy Foundation provides support to people with epilepsy, families/carers and professionals in schools, disability, aged care and workplaces, across Victoria and New South Wales.
Services include:
• Education and training in understanding epilepsy and administering emergency medication
• National Epilepsy Support Service
• Individualised, comprehensive services (including Epilepsy Management Plans, Emergency Medication Management Plans)
• Assistance with NDIS supports
• Peer support.
We ensure that:
• People with epilepsy/families have access to relevant information to understand and manage their condition well; and that
• Professionals understand epilepsy and how to support people living with epilepsy, to ensure they are safe and included.
