Social Groups
Donwood Community Centre provides a government subsidised activity program for people over 65, living in their own home. We also provide services at full cost to people in receipt of Commonwealth Home Care Packages.
The program runs Monday to Friday with 3 days allocated to those who would benefit from memory support.
The program enables you to interact with like minded people, making life long friendships and while helping with mental, physical and social well-being.
Our program includes different theme days that we celebrate, go on outings, exercises as well as entertainers visiting the centre.
It allows our carers to have some respite as well.
Physiotherapy
On Wednesdays, we provide subsidised physiotherapy and weekly exercise groups.
