Wintringham’s first Residential Aged Care home in Tasmania, was purpose-built by the Tasmanian Government to Wintringham’s award winning standards.
The site accommodates and cares for 40 older Tasmanians aged 50 years and over who are experiencing or vulnerable to homelessness, or are financially disadvantaged. Each resident has their own private bathroom, built-in wardrobe and balcony overlooking the mountains and water. The home includes a spacious lounge area, fully equipped kitchen and TV, and a large dining area. It also has a cinema, hairdresser room, quiet room, ponds and gardens, with an onsite laundry and cleaning staff.
