Our brand new residential aged care home is now open, set opposite the historic Parramatta Park, and co-located with retirement living apartments and an early learning centre. We’ve combined residential aged care, retirement living apartments, a café, senior’s gym, hair and beauty salon, chapel, health consulting rooms and an early learning centre all in the one location at our new Uniting Westmead community, continuing the Uniting Church’s tradition of supporting older people in the Westmead area for more than forty years. Westmead Train station is only a 10-minutes walk away, with Westmead Hospital, Westmead Future Light Rail Station and shopping precincts all close-by.

Our aged care residents have the benefit of being able to share a coffee or a chat with our retirement living residents in the brand new café and shared spaces. They can also share their stories and experience with the pre-schoolers at the early learning centre, in an interactive community.

Residents will discover the benefits of 24/7 comfort, tailored to their individual needs, with professional support from our compassionate care team. Our dementia-friendly households each feature a dedicated household care team, self-serve tea and coffee facilities, large communal kitchen & living spaces, freshly-prepared meals, cosy lounge/fireplace areas, gardens and BBQ facilities. Each room comes with a “memory box” for residents to put their trinkets in, adding that personal touch. Rooms also come with a 24/7 emergency call system, king-single bed, bedside table, built-in-robe, flat-screen TV, air-conditioning and private ensuite.
