ACH Group has the foundation to a ‘good life’

A foundation to a good life is to be as healthy as you can be, according to South Australian aged care provider ACH Group.

With its healthy ageing approach, ACH Group believes every person should have the opportunity to achieve optimal physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing.

It is with this mindset that ACH Group continues its successful Good Lives series with the ‘Healthy Body, Healthy Mind’ event at the Marion Cultural Centre on Friday, 24 April 2015.

The event will showcase services available in Adelaide’s southern suburb of Marion and beyond that promote healthy ageing, including representation from the City of Marion, Seniors Information Service and the nearby SA Aquatic Centre, along with those from ACH Group.

“The Good Lives event series demonstrates how older people can live good lives into their 70s, 80s and 90s with a range of displays and informative sessions about the activities and services available in the area,” says Jani Baker, ACH Group’s acting general manager.

“The community at large often expects older people to become frail as they age. Members of the ACH Group community, who signal their intent to remain active and involved, demonstrate that this doesn’t have to be a fait accompli,” she says.

The “Healthy Body, Healthy Mind” Good Lives Event will take place on Friday, 24 April 2015 at the Marion Cultural Centre, 287 Diagonal Road Oaklands Park, adjacent the Marion Shopping Centre, from 10am to 12pm.

To assist with catering, RSVP online or call the ACH Group Customer Service team on 1300 224 477.
