One of our students is 92 years and when asked her goal, she said that she wanted to ‘shock and surprise’ her family by sending them an email! This is a luncheon out with other Carers and the staff that support them.It is a time of refreshing as Carers break the normal routine and have an opportunity to engage with others who are on the same journey. Pamper days give carers a chance to take a break, to find out information to support them in their role, have fun, make new friends and share experiences. They also strengthen the relationships between carers and key staff members.
