When you attend Melody Street Social and Community Hub, you’ll be welcomed by a friendly group of people who love to socialise and make new friends. You’ll collaborate with our caring team to design activities that are enjoyable and suit your interests.
We’re a dementia-friendly environment, offering people with dementia a safe space to meet likeminded people and feel supported to continue doing the things they love.
We’re located in close proximity to local bus stops or our team can pick you up and drop you home each day.
If you’re a Coorparoo local wishing to meet new people, learn new skills and share your interests with others, we’d love to welcome you to our hub. Our hub is a place for you to enjoy activities such as exercise, board games, beauty and technology training, but we’re always open to try new things. If you’re traveling by public transport, the hub is close to major bus stops along Old Cleveland Road and a five-minute walk to Coorparoo Square but, if you need assistance, speak to us about our group transport service.
Alani is a place where everyone is welcome and traditional culture is celebrated all year round.
We’ll take the time to learn about your interests and the things you enjoy so we can make sure you’re getting the most out of your experience.
Outings are a favourite activity and this often gives us the chance to share traditional stories on Jagera country and collect materials for our art and craft activities.
At Alani you’ll be treated to healthy, delicious meals each day – and if you need assistance, group transport is available.

Unique Care was originally known as Uniquekids when it was founded in 2015. It was a service to help and assist children with different Neuorological needs such as Autism/ ADHD. As our client base grew it was very clear that there was a great need for this service across all age groups and mental health conditions. We have now transitioned into Unique Care and Accommodation.Unique Care and Accommodation provides individualised services and short term accommodation to NDIS clients. All of our carers are individually chosen and have a lived experience in the area of mental health. This makes makes them the most compassionate and knowledgable care team we can provide. Our founder Julia Kilner has grown up in a family of neurodiversity which lead her down a path of education and discovery just when awareness was in it's infancy. We understand the challenges neurodiverse people face living in a predominantly neurotypical world. Our mission is to bridge the gap and identify the support needed to live a happy meaningful life.
