Located only a few minutes from both the Maryland Shopping Centre and a little further on to Wallsend Plaza and 14 kilometres from the Newcastle CBD.

Maryland was originally an agricultural area and residential development began in the 1970’s making it a relatively new suburb. Today, it is a family oriented residential area with an outlook on the wetlands.
